Driver CPC Training Courses

Our team of skilled instructors deliver Driver CPC Training at our purpose built training suite in St Austell. Training delivery can also take place at clients’ premises although there must be adequate prior consultation to ensure suitable premises are available. All courses are applicable to both LGV and PCV drivers unless detailed otherwise.

7 hour courses Duration
CPC Refresher 1 Transport Regulations  Covers operator & driver licences, hours and records refresher, vehicle maintenance requirements, load safety, vulnerable road users. 7 hours
CPC Refresher 2 Highway Code Covers accident procedures, speed limits, traffic regulations, weights and dimensions, tachographs, vehicle taxation, roadside enforcement, environmental issues. Practical Driver Training Covers checking and improving practical skills. can be used as a refresher, post-incident or as part of a licence upgrade First Aid Covers the recommended first aid syllabus – see the First Aid link Driver Operated Mechanical Handling Equipment Covers the theory and practice of the operation of LGV driver operated loading equipment 7 hours
Any two of the 3.5 hour courses combine to make a 7 hour training day;

The following are the most popular training courses we deliver, although if there is something else required please ask. Our St Austell site is training head office, but many of these courses are available by arrangement at our Plymouth depot, and we can often deliver training at a customer site subject to suitable facilities.
