Full job description
We are looking for a commercial vehicle technician (mechanic) to join our St Austell workshop team on a full-time basis.
Duties would include:
- Vehicle Servicing & Routine PMIs
- Vehicle Diagnostics
- Repairs
- MOT Preparation
- Tail Lift Repairs & Servicing
Previous HGV or LGV technician/mechanic experience is essential.
The role is 45 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday-Friday.
An additional performance allowance of £6.75 per day is payable as appropriate.
For the successful candidate we are offering an excellent working environment in our heated workshop with full uniform and PPE provided.
The role promises opportunities for additional training with a competitive salary, including a workplace pension scheme. An additional performance allowance is also available.
It would suit someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a strong mechanical background.

Full job description
At our head office in London Apprentice, St Austell, we are looking for an Engineering Department Stock Stores Operative on a full-time basis.
Duties would include:
- Manage goods in, stock, returns and warranties.
- Update daily stock records and maintain upkeep of stores organisation.
- Performing sectioned monthly stock-takes and resolving discrepancies - if any
- Working alongside workshop mechanical team for parts ordering and requirements.
- Ordering parts and stock as required from suppliers.
- Cost control for parts including comparing cost between suppliers.
- Processing of delivery notes, purchase invoices, returns notes/stock returns and credit notes.
- General assistance on administrative tasks within the department.
- Holiday/absence cover on the Engineering front desk, including telephone cover.
- Additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
This role would suit a well organised individual.
Previous workshop-based experience is preferred but not essential.
The role is 45 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday-Friday.
