Yes they can but the hirers remain legally responsible for the vehicle until it has been checked in by our staff. Vehicles cannot be dropped off at our Plymouth Branch at the present time.

We can hire some vehicles for European use, please contact us for further information.

Yes. If you hire out at 9.00am today then the vehicle would be due back by 9.00am tomorrow.

No. Paperwork has to be completed to cover insurance prior to hire. We can sometimes complete all the formalities before collection although the vehicle is only insured during the times signed for on the form. You would still be held liable for any damage to the vehicle whilst it stands awaiting collection. Please call us about this.

Yes, your photocard driving licence must be provided at all times.

The following documents MUST be with you when you collect any of the vehicles. The insurance company will not cover you unless all of the required paperwork has been checked.

The driver must present a current driving licence (at least held for two years or more for the category of vehicle you’re hiring).

If you are in the throws of moving address then we will require a utility bill at your current address and a legal letter showing your new address.

Payment can be made using most major credit or debit cards. We initially pre-authorise the rental amount plus a £300.00 security excess deposit to your card. Providing the vehicle is returned undamaged and full of fuel we will only deduct the rental amount at the end of the rental period (Conditions apply).

The checklist is as follows:

  • Photo driving licence card AND National Insurance Number (these are required for driving licence validation)
  • We will also need one additional proof of your home address as well as the license (utility bill, payslip, bank statement etc)

Yes, the driver must be between 25 – 70 years of age with no more than 6 points on their licence. It may still be possible to rent a vehicle if you are under the age of 25 or over 70, however, you’ll need to contact a member of the rental team to discuss further.

Drivers must have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years, for the category of vehicle that you’re hiring.

In the event of an accident, you are liable for £1000 excess in respect of all claims.

Yes – inclusive of VAT, Insurance, breakdown cover and mileage.

Details of endorsements must always be taken. Depending of the seriousness of the endorsement and the number of the endorsements, you may be able to hire a vehicle. Contact our office by phone or email with details to be sure. Remember if the full details are not given this may result in you not being insured.

The initial price per vehicle covers one driver. Any additional drivers may be added onto the insurance at an extra price of £5.00 per driver for the total hire period.

No, unfortunately vehicles must be returned to the collection point. However, upon request, it may be possible for the vehicle to be return to either one of our St. Austell or Plymouth depots.
